Kindness will release his House EP June 18th, which features various reworkings of songs off World, You Need A Change of Mind, notably a dub mix of album opener "SEOD" by the album's producer/mixer extraordinaire, Philippe Zdar, who happens also to be featured in our hot-off-the-press FADER #80. The song's chorus, let the music become part of you, is really Zdar's modus operandi and he stretches SEOD epically, with a slow-build intro, a deliciously quiet interlude that acutally makes you see, in your mind's eye, the percussive pulse of speaker turned down way down low but still crackling and a full-bodied piano beat for the outro.
