If the entire "Came Out The Water" video would've just been a soft-focus (Based God vision) close up of the Back To The Future Nike Air Mags that Soulja Boy shows off in its opening scenes it would roughly tell the same story as the video he actually created. Give or take a pair of what appear to be camouflage oven mitts. In fact, Soulja's recent video output (as well as his Tumblr feed) could basically be summarized by a still shot of him wearing incredibly expensive sneakers while smiling really widely while the "Swagg Daddy" text bubble from his shirt floats above his head. Still, it's hard to hate him for it. He's happy and he's rich and his music is fun sometimes. Plus he's helping to cure Parkinson's Disease.
"Came Out The Water" has been floating around for a while now by way of the Bernard Arnault EP. Soulja's just-released and not awesomely titled Skate Boy tape features more of that shimmering 8-bit glory swag with "I'm So Important (Came Out The Water Pt. 2)." It also includes "Tear It Up," for which he shot another video for. It is exactly the same as the first video except with higher film quality and a better T-shirt. Watch below.
