There's no question that Los Angeles' Jerkin movement owes much of its sound and early momentum to the Bay Area's Hyphy renaissance that took place a few years prior. On the all too short (no pun intended) "To The Bay" self proclaimed King Of Jerk draws that line more explicitly, detailing a trip up north and flipping Husalah's verse from E-40's post-hyphy slumper "Lightweight Jammin" into its hook. Sam also Tweet-leaked the looser "Bored" yesterday. He makes no specific Bay references on the freestyle but it too slaps tremendo and knocks ridiculous.
