The Brooklyn via Ann-Arbor based Laurel Halo is set to release her second EP on Hippos in Tanks (June 22nd). Purportedly an "ode to time leaping, designed to aid in moments of brain traffic and physical transit," Hour Logic is a deeply layered ethereal trip. Unsurprising for an artist who cites influences like Detroit techno and Steve Reich. It's the kind of music you can totally zone out or tune into, depending on your state of mind, and each option feels equally pleasurable.
