Like most Salem remixes, this Devlin song is less their reinterpretation of a track and more just them bulldozing through the original and turning the whole thing into a haunting narcotic synth grind. The original version is nimbly frantic, and Salem promptly crush all the life out of it in the best way possible. Like watching a child learn about death by watching Bambi, which is to say this is depressing but a good experience overall.
