Soulland showed spring 2011 for the first time at the Paris Men's shows last week, beefing up the Scandinavian fashion quotient to three after Vibskov and Acne. Designer Silas Adler created this collection in the city of lights, although the inspiration hinged on the North American swag of poet/singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen, and specifically a poem called "The Suit." With slate grey short suits, classic two-button ensembles, and more casual reinterpretations of gentlemanly attire (including the Soulland version of the Texan tuxedo—long denim tunics for boys!), if we had to be locked into a three-piece by next spring, then Adler's given us plenty of options.
