"Funny" is not a trait most people associate with dance music producers (we know, we took an office poll), but London producer/DJ Scratcha DVA blows that perception out of the water. His Twitter bio reads, "In a rave I wil b the short borderline fat black guy lookin strange," and his tweets are no less hilarious: "Jus saw @KatyBmusic in Oxford street. Had 2 punch her up 1 time," and the concise, "YOUTUBE LINKS." Speaking of YouTube, Scratcha compiled a series of funny ones on Fabric's site to accompany his excellent mix, including clips of raver Teletubbies, a Katt Williams weed monologue and a pretty sad video of a kid who opens a present only to find a fake X-Box. The context helps to pick up on his little sonic jokes on the mix, a collection of established greats, fellow Rinse DJs, next-wave bass producers and something called "Grrr (Dumpling Mix)" by Hard House Banton, who is actually a real dude.
