Saturn and Moh Baretta.

I’ve never planned my life around a horoscope, but I enjoy astrology as a meditative practice. I find astrological charts mesmerizing, and reading someone’s birth chart is a fun party trick. The idea that the planets could influence our day to day fits my semi-secular lifestyle perfectly fine, mainly because I’m not going to do that much about it anyway. Likewise, this zodiac playlist mirrors distant planetary movements, but the main goal is bringing you a monthly roundup of great music you haven’t heard yet.
Pisces season kicks off February 18 and will be filled with major transits. What’s a transit? Thanks for asking: it’s the path a planet takes through the sky as seen from Earth. As celestial bodies move at different speeds across the sky, they shift from one sign of the zodiac to the next.
In astrology, different planets rule different categories (transportation, relationships, luck, etc), and whatever sign they’re in at the moment can influence our lives in different ways. And if the combination of 12 zodiac signs and nine planets (yes, Pluto still counts) wasn’t enough, these different transits can intersect and interact with each other as well. But that’s getting too deep in the weeds; what you really need to know is that this Pisces season — with a Saturn-Neptune conjunction, an upcoming mercury retrograde, a lunar eclipse, Mars and Venus transits, and Jupiter turning direct — will ask us to go-with-the-flow amidst chaotic circumstances, saving our energy (and luck) for when we need it the most.
Read on for a closer look at the horoscope for Pisces season 2026 and a playlist featuring Sterling Cupid, Anna Wise, Eem Triplin, Oxis, Cannelle, Ledbyher, The Femcels, Moh Baretta, and more.
Saturn conjunct with Neptune in Aries (Feb. 20)
What it means: Saturn is associated with discipline and boundaries while far-flung Neptune represents the collective unconscious. Both planets will be “conjunct” (meaning, in the same spot) in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, so consider it an intense new beginning, whether in your personal career or the broader social fabric.

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces (Feb. 26)
What it means: As hysterical as the mention of Mercury retrograde might make some people, it’s honestly not a big deal. After all, it happens three to four times a year and the world keeps turning. A planet is considered “retrograde” when it appears to move backwards in the sky, leading to minor astrological chaos on Earth. Mercury rules communication, transportation, and thinking, so under the influence of Pisces, expect plenty of sentiment and introspection in your internal monologue and external dialogues.
What you should listen to: “iii” by Anna Wise; “LYRICZ” by Thirteendegrees; “Above the vapours” by Kelly Moran
Mars enters Pisces (March 2)
What it means: Mars and Pisces seem to be at odds. The red planet controls action, impulses, stamina, and sex, while the passive twelfth sign of the zodiac is focused on loftier dreams and deeper meaning. It’s a go-with-the-flow sort of time; the energy brings to mind a rainy afternoon best spent in bed.
What you should listen to: “Guili” by Oxis; “Will You Stay With Me” by Immaterialize; “2BON2B” by Ledbyher
Lunar Eclipse in Virgo (March 3)
What it means: Lunar and solar eclipses are cosmic wake-up calls, associated with epiphanies and life changes. The upcoming Lunar eclipse in Virgo follows the February 17 solar eclipse in Aquarius. Basically, whatever is holding you back, put it down or you’ll be forced to put it down. Purging isn’t easy, but it’s better out than in.

Venus enters Aries (March 6)
What it means: Venus rules aesthetics and romance so March could bring an exciting new fling or the urge to switch up your appearance (let’s all get facial piercings together). If you find yourself itching to text your ex-situationship (thanks Mercury retrograde), try visiting a new museum or art gallery instead.
What you should listen to: “Even Though You’re Blonde” by The Femcels; “only one - ghettopop remix” by Sterling Cupid; “a love song for u” by Eem Triplin
Jupiter turns direct in Cancer (March 11)
What it means: Jupiter, the planet of luck, healing, adventure, and wealth, has been in retrograde since the start of November. Worse still, it’s been under strict-ass Capricorn, restricting our luck even more. On March 11, the biggest planet will turn direct in Cancer, a much friendlier sign. It’s a good time to take a risk and put yourself out there, whether you’re shooting your shot romantically or otherwise.
