Charli xcx will contribute new and original music to director Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights. News of Charli's involvement was revealed in the first teaser trailer for the film, which stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi. The trailer uses Charli's Brat song "Everything is romantic." Wuthering Heights is Fennell's follow-up to Saltburn and is her third movie after her 2020 debut, Promising Young Woman. Robbie and Elordi will take on the roles of Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff in the Emily Brontë adaptation, with Alison Oliver, Shazad Latif, Hong Chau and Owen Cooper also part of the cast. Wuthering Heights is due in theaters on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
