Dijon has announced that his second album will come out next Friday, August 15, as Stereogum points out. The songwriter and producer’s website has been changed to a white screen with a few lines of small text in the corner – a countdown of how many days, hours, minutes and seconds “until the album ‘Baby’ (unless the samples don’t get cleared).” Underneath the countdown is a m4a file titled “BABY_barn burner!!,” containing the audio from what sounds like a bluesy jam session.
Dijon released his debut album, Absolutely, in 2021. Most recently, he was featured on Justin Bieber’s SWAG, working as a producer on tracks like "DAISIES," "YUKON," and "THINGS YOU DO,” and contributing vocals to the song “DEVOTION.”
