As Osbourne’s health declined, he gave what was expected to be his final show in February of 2025. The “Back to the Beginning” concert was held in his hometown of Birmingham, England, and featured both a solo performance and a Black Sabbath reunion. He passed away just three weeks later on July 22 at age 76. On July 30, crowds of fans lined the streets of Birmingham during his funeral procession, joining the countless musicians who expressed shock and sadness in the days following Osbourne's passing.
