Jack Harlow has had his eyes on a Doja Cat collab for a long time now. Back in 2020 he admitted to having a crush on her while speaking to fans on IG Live (she later revealed the hilarious reason she "swerved" him) but now it seems Jack has got his girl.
"Just Us" is a fun and flirty collaboration between the two artists and it comes with an equally sharp video. Filmed at the Los Angeles restaurant Horses, the premise of the video echoes the message in the song: we're out in public but it would be better if we were alone.
When you're in a viral restaurant in L.A., though, the people you wish weren't there are a little more famous than the average diners. So we see Jack and Doja sitting on a table next to John Mayer and Nicholas Braun. Across the room is PinkPantheress splitting a wired headphone a friend. Waiting in line at the bar, meanwhile, is Matt Damon. There are also appearances from Taylor Rooks, Malcolm Todd, DJ Drama, and more in the cameo-packed video.
“Just Us” is Harlow’s second single of the year, following “Set You Free,” which he released in February. Doja Cat, meanwhile, joined Lisa and Raye on “Born Again” and performed alongside both artists as part of a tribute to James Bond at this year's Oscars.
