Amid jokes about AI, Russia, and even Kendrick Lamar & Drake's beef, Hollywood celebrated the best films of 2024 on Sunday. It was the 97th Academy Awards and specifically, it was Anora's night (which we correctly predicted) as the indie film took home five awards — including Best Picture — the most of the night. Its star Mikey Madison beat out Demi Moore for Actress in a Leading Role, and its director Sean Baker took home the directing award, as well as Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay. Other surprises of the night included a trophy to Flow, the Latvian film that won Best Animated Feature Film, and No Other Land, the controversial Palestinian and Israeli joint-produced venture that took home Documentary Feature Film.

Below, see all the 2025 Oscar winners.
