Kendrick Lamar's performance of "Not Like Us" at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show has sent the song to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 yet again.
The song debuted at No. 1 in its first week of release in May 2024, and spent a second week at the top spot after the release of its music video; the week prior to the Super Bowl, the song was sitting at a very respectable No. 15.
According to Billboard, that's the third-longest break between No. 1s for the same song in the chart's history. Chubby Checker’s “The Twist” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” are the only tracks with longer intervals, though "Not Like Us" is the first non-holiday song ever to top the chart three different times with two more months between each No. 1.
But that's not all: four Kendrick Lamar songs from his new album GNX occupy the Hot 100's top 5. In addition to "Not Like Us," there's "Luther" featuring SZA (No. 2), "TV Off" featuring Lefty Gunplay (No. 3), and "Squabble Up" (No. 5). "30 for 30," a Lamar-featuring song from SZA's SOS Deluxe: Lana, comes in at No. 10.
The victory caps a massive month for Lamar's diss track. The song won five awards at the 2025 Grammys, including Song and Record of the Year. In April, Kendrick Lamar and SZA will embark on a world tour.
