The Weeknd has delayed the release of his new album while the wildfires in Los Angeles are ongoing. Abel Tesfaye was due to release Hurry Up Tomorrow tomorrow on January 24 but the album will now arrive one week later, on January 31. Additionally, a concert to celebrate the release of the album at the Rose Bowl has been pulled.

The delay of Hurry Up Tomorrow follows Beyoncé's decision to postpone an announcement she had planned for January 14. Similarly, voting in the Academy Awards has been extended with news of this year's nominees now due on January 24.
Hurry Up Tomorrow could be the final album from The Weeknd. It will feature the singles “Dancing in the Flames,” “Timeless" (featuring Playboi Carti),” and “São Paulo (featuring Anitta).” An accompanying movie, also called Hurry Up Tomorrow and starring Tesfaye alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, is due later this year.
