Hardcore bands don't get invited to play on late night chat shows very often so credit to Jimmy Kimmel (or his booking team) for giving Knocked Loose a showcase on national television this week. The Louisville band, whose You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To is one of the best heavy rock albums of the year, were joined by Poppy for their performance of "Suffocate." It's fair to say that they brought a different energy to the stage, with a huge pyrotechnic display lighting up the circle pit that opened as soon as the band began to play. Check out their chaotic performance above.
"Suffocate" earned Knocked Loose and Poppy a Grammy nomination earlier this month, with the song due to compete in the Best Metal Performance category at next year's ceremony.
