Hear GOTOPO and Don Elektron’s new song “Mi Gente Lo Siente” in MLS’s “Summer Is Calling” TV spot

Summer is officially here, bringing the good vibes and positive energy that the 2024 season of Major League Soccer has delivered throughout the year. To celebrate the sunniest time of year, MLS has teamed up with Venezuelan singer-songwriter GOTOPO and Don Elektron (the pair who collaborated on three songs from GOTOPO's 2023 EP Sacúdete) for a new, exclusive track called “Mi Gente Lo Siente.”

The energetic EDM-pop anthem is the kind of thing you'd expect to hear in your head as you breakaway from defenders toward an open goal; check it out above in the new MLS spot, titled "Summer Is Calling."

“The summer chapter of the ‘Our Soccer is Calling’ campaign celebrates the unique convergence of sports and culture in our League,” Jesse Perl, VP of MLS's Brand Marketing, said in a press statement. “There’s no better example of that than music, and we are incredibly excited to continue our relationship with these pioneering artists to create a sound for MLS that invites everyone to be a part of it.”
