As she accepted the award for Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights) at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift announced the title and release date of a new album: Tortured Poets Department, due out April 19.
Onstage, Swift said: “I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years which is that my brand new album comes out April 19. It’s called The Tortured Poets Department.” She then promised to share the cover art when she went backstage, which she promptly did. See video of her remarks and the cover art below.
