YoungBoy Never Broke Again announces new album, shares three new songs
Hear “Deep Down,” “My Body,” and “Now Who” from Decided 2, out on November 10.
The ever-prolific YoungBoy Never Broke Again has announced Decided 2, his fourth album of 2023 after I Rest My Case, Don't Try This At Home, and Richest Op. Out on November 10, the project has been revealed with three new songs: “Deep Down,” “My Body,” and “Now Who”
"Deep Down" is your archetypal YoungBoy song with a NOLA-indebted beat and YoungBoy paying tribute to "the waters where I was raised." It also comes with a music video, presumably shot in Utah, where YoungBoy remains on house arrest.
"My Body" is a melodic ballad coursing with romantic longing, but "Now Who" is the most interesting track. The black sheep of the three, "Now Who" is a country-fried trap song that seems cognizant of how lucrative the two genres' collision has been recently. YoungBoy also sounds the most genuinely introspective on the track, lamenting greedy major labels and his unending state of paranoia. Stream "My Body" and "Now Who" below, and "Deep Down" above.
