serpentwithfeet has confirmed details of a new studio album and shared its lead single. Grip will be released on February 16 next year and "Damn Gloves" is streaming below. The new song features vocals from Ty Dolla $ign and Yanga YaYa and comes with a video set underneath the lights of a club dancefloor.
In a short statement, serpentwithfeet shared: "I didn't wanna waste this chance to celebrate my waist in his hands."

Earlier this year serpentwithfeet previewed new music as part of Heart Of Brick, a theatrical experience comprising music and dance which opened in Hamburg before transferring to New York.
serpentwithfeet's most recent album was 2021's Deacon. Since then he has contributed music to the soundtrack of A24 movie The Inspection and appeared on new albums by Björk and Daniel Caesar.
