Last Thursday (October 19), during a secret Green Day concert in Las Vegas, the legendary California rock band announced they'll be going on tour next year, Rolling Stone and Stereogum reports.
“We’re gonna do a big tour next year. It’s gonna be Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, The Linda Lindas," frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said, according to Stereogum. Green Day then premiered their new song "The American Dream Is Killing Me," which will be on their upcoming album. Watch them perform it below.
The band mainly used the night to celebrate the forthcoming 30th anniversary of their seminal album Dookie, which was released in February 1994, The concert consisted of them playing 29 songs that spanned their 33-year career.
