Otoboke Beaver announce 2024 North American tour

The 28-show run will kick off February 20 in Seattle, with support from Drinking Boys and Girls Choir.

October 17, 2023

Otoboke Beaver are among the hardest-working bands out there. Since the release of their most recent album, Super Champon, in May 2022, they been on the road almost constantly, and their live energy is still the stuff of legend. They’re currently traversing Australia, and they’ll finish out the month with two New Zealand shows before heading home to Japan for three November performances, then to South Korea, then Indonesia, then Taiwan, then Hong Kong and Thailand in December. They’re two-and-a-half-month break after that will be their longest in almost two years.

Otoboke Beaver have released only one new track since Super Champon dropped 17 months ago (likely due to their breakneck touring schedule). “Chu Chu Song” dropped in September 2022 via Damnably. Read our Q&A with the group’s frontwoman, Accorinrin, about the surreal, silly Super Champon cut “Yakitori.”
