Beyoncé was the guest of honor at the premiere of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour in LA on Wednesday night. She joined Taylor Swift on the red carpet at The Grove's AMC Theater prior to the first screening of the concert movie.
Sharing an image of the pair together via social media, Swift wrote: "I’m so glad I’ll never know what my life would’ve been like without @beyonce‘s influence. The way she’s taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility."
"She’s been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale," Swift added, "Today Was a Fairytale." On TikTok, meanwhile, she stated that she "Honestly can’t even remember my own name."
In addition to hosting the premiere, Swift also announced a series of "early access showings" of The Eras Tour for today (October 12). The movie officially opens worldwide on Friday but "unprecedented demand" has led to the additional U.S. screenings, with tickets available via AMC from 10am ET.
Beyoncé will also release a live concert film this year. Renaissance is scheduled to arrive in theaters in December.
