Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Krayzie Bone is on the road to recovery. A couple of weeks ago (September 22), he was hospitalized after reportedly coughing up significant amounts of blood. Doctors discovered a leaking artery and he underwent surgery to fix internal bleeding in his lungs shortly after.
At the time, TMZ reported he was placed in a medical-induced coma and had to go under the knife a second time when the bleeding wasn't resolved.
But today (October 4), he shared an update on Instagram. "Just fought for life," he wrote. "Literally for 9 days straight. [And] I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me." See it in full below.
In 2012, Krayzie Bone was diagnosed with an inflammatory disease called sarcoidosis, which causes groups of cells to form clusters in the organs. In 2016, he canceled his tour due to battling symptoms of the illness.
