Joanna Sternberg has come out with a new single, "Neighbors." It's the first release since their sophomore record, I've Got Me, dropped back in June.
The song begins with the simple, yet relatable two lines, "You don't say hi to me so I don't hi to you / You won't smile at you." Elaborating on the song, Sternberg shared a story on Instagram. "Once when I was 7, a neighbor asked my Dad if I was mad at him because I did not say hi to him," they wrote. "I had not even seen him! That got me obsessed (in a probably unhealthy way) with feeling I always had to say hi to everyone!"
