With the writer strike officially over, late night shows returned to TV screens this week and with them come a raft of musical guests. Stephen Colbert welcomed boygenius to his Late Show set on Tuesday night with the trio performing "Cool About It" for the studio audience. They delivered a simple performance, with all three members standing in a semi-circle around the same microphone. They marked the end of the song with a kiss, too. Check out the performance below.
"Cool About It" features on The Record, Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus's debut album. The song also received a Tim Burton-style music video last month. It was recently revealed that boygenius will release a new EP, titled the rest, on October 13.
