Byron Messia shares announces new album, shares “Mad Dawgs”
Sad & Famous is coming soon via Ztekk/Simple Stupid/Geffen Records, release date TBA.
Byron Messia is back with a new song titled “Mad Dawgs,” along with news of his next album, Sad & Famous. The record is on its way via Ztekk, Simple Stupid, and Geffen Records, release date TBA.
The 23-year-old singer from St. Kitts saw viral success this year with the release of “Talibans,” a cut from his January LP No Love that was later remixed by Burna Boy. That song showed off the soft, syrupy side of his voice even as he told tales of murder. On the new song, he sounds much more urgent, stretching his voice to its limits over a driving, ominous beat.
