Ray J is reportedly hosting a mechanical bull riding contest in San Francisco.
According to TMZ, the R&B singer wants to award the competition’s best nonprofessional female bull-rider with a $25,000 prize this coming weekend. Sources close to Ray J revealed the event is set to take place on Saturday, September 16 at the Westwood, a country western-themed music bar in the city’s Marina District. And yes, cowgirl looks are a requirement.
The insiders went on to reveal that the competition is actually a promotion for “On Top,” Ray J’s new collaboration with Bobby Brackins and P-Lo. In addition to the bull riding stunt, Ray J also recently launched his new #OnTopChallenge on TikTok, where he’s handing out $100 to whoever comes up with the best creative dance. That said, the TikTok challenge probably won’t attract the likes of Bay Area rap legend, Too Short, who’s apparently set to make an appearance at the rodeo-inspired event.
