With the release of his third studio album GÉNESIS, Peso Pluma became one of the hottest pop artists in the world thanks to his singular take on corridos tumbados, a Latin trap-influenced spin on traditional Mexican corridos. "Ella Baila Sola," his 2023 collaboration with Eslabon Armado, became the first traditional Mexican song to top the Billboard Hot 100 in the chart's history.

This year he also appeared onstage at Coachella with Becky G and teamed up with the perpetually viral Argentine producer Bizzrap for the song "Session #55."
