Olivia Rodrigo has performed the songs "vampire" and "get him back" from her new album Guts at the 2023 MTV VMAs. Watch footage of the set below.
2020 saw the release of Olivia Rodrigo's debut album Sour. Boosted by smash hits like "driver's license," "good 4 u," and "deja vu," the album landed Rodrigo eight Grammy nominations including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist; she won the latter award and the trophy for Best Pop Vocal Album. In May she shared a statement promising that her second album was almost done, and released its lead single "vampire" in June, followed by "bad idea, right?"
