For All The Dogs, the eighth studio album from Drake, now has a release date: September 22, 2023. The news was revealed in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday (September 6) — the video shows Drake's father Dennis Graham performing at a rock club in what looks to be the early '90s, and the caption reads "FOR ALL THE DOGS SEPTEMBER 22." For All The Dogs was formally announced with the June release of Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness, a poetry book co-written with Kenza Samir. A website linked with the book contains the following statement: “I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl don’t tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS.” Last month, Drake shared the album's cover art, designed by his five-year-old son Adonis.

Drake is currently touring the world with 21 Savage for the "It's All A Blur" tour. The shows were preceded by their collaborative album Her Loss; the album debuted at No. 1, but Drake and 21 found themselves sued by Condé Nast over a promotional campaign that used a fake Vogue cover. The suit was settled out of court.

In April he shared the solo song "Search & Rescue," which peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100. He also guested on the songs "We Caa Done" by Popcaan, J Hus's "Who Told You," and Travis Scott's "Meltdown." Drake used his verse on the latter track to throw some shots at Pharrell and Pusha T.
