Kanye West's Twitter account has been restored months after it was suspended for posting a swastika. In December 2022, the rapper fused the symbol with the star of David, and his account was subsequently banned. When fans fought for Kanye's account to be reinstated, Elon Musk replied that he "tried his best" but Ye "again violated our rule against incitement to violence."

The Wall Street Journal reported that he was allowed back on the platform after Twitter was reassured that Kanye would no longer share antisemitic or violent remarks.

It's not the first time Ye has violated the platform's rules against hate speech. A few months prior, in October, he tweeted, "I'm a bit sleepy but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE." His account was locked shortly after, but quickly regained access.

After his "permanent" suspension in December, Kanye did a podcast interview with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes and told Jewish people to forgive Hitler.
