Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro break off their engagement

Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro have broken up after more than three years together, People reports and Alejandro has confirmed on social media. Back in March, the couple had gotten engaged and released a joint ep, RЯ.

“During all these years you have been part of my professional achievements, as well as all the happy moments that I have lived as a couple,” Alejandro’s statement reads (translated from Spanish). “I never saw myself in the position of even thinking that I would have to make public statements on this very private matter for me. Yes, a few months ago Rosi and I ended our engagement. There are thousands of problems that can cause a breakup, but in our case it was not because of third parties or infidelity. During this time that I am taking to assimilate all of this, erroneous public allegations have arisen, and out of respect for her, our families, and all that we experience, I could not remain silent and continue to watch as they try to destroy the truest love story that God has allowed me to live. The couple publicly announced they were together in September 2021. In March 2022, Rosalía revealed to Teen Vogue that she had gotten “RR” tattooed on her foot.
