PinkPantheress shares “Turn Your Phone Off” with Destroy Lonely
The U.K. star has praised her collaborator for “incorporating beautifully” into her sound.
PinkPantheress has dropped her first single since her smash hit “Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2” remix with Ice Spice. "Turn Your Phone Off" features Destroy Lonely and is streaming below.
"I turned my phone off but your calls still came through/I reply when they do ’cause I want to chat to you," PinkPantheress sings over a skippy garage-style beat. "Then the next day we try again and again/I pick up when you call me so we won’t see the end."
"After years of having this song in the vault, I'm so happy I can release ‘Turn Your Phone Off’ with someone who has spearheaded his own sound and incorporates beautifully into mine," Pinkpantheress says in a statement shared with the press.
PinkPantheress released her Take Me Home EP in 2022 alongside two collaborations; “Where You Are” with Willow and “Picture in My Mind” with Sam Gellaitry. She has also contributed "Angel" to the Barbie movie soundtrack.
Destroy Lonely dropped his latest project, If Looks Could Kill, in May. He will join Playboi Carti on his recently announced Antagonist tour in the fall.
