Loraine James taps Injury Reserve’s RiTchie on “Déjà Vu”

Loraine James has released another single and music video for her upcoming album, Gentle Confrontation. For “Déjà Vu,” she teams up with Injury Reserve's RiTchie, who provides vocals on the experimental track.

The Parker Corey-directed visual shows RiTchie singing over the cacophony of sounds as he sits in the backseat of a car, driving around the city. Watch it above.

Gentle Confrontation is set to release on September 22 via Hyperdub. The project follows her 2022 record Building Something Beautiful For Me. Earlier this year, James appeared on Yaeji's new album, With A Hammer.
