Stevedreez returns with funky new single “CRYSTAL BALL”
The song is his first release of 2023.
After a handful of singles in 2022, Virginia-based Stevedreez is bringing us his first release of the year. Produced by Jazen Saga, "CRYSTAL BALL" is a soft-sung love song that feels both nostalgic for '70s synth-pop while remaining contemporary. The song also serves as the lead single for his forthcoming EP, which is set to release later this August via Juliet Records.
"'CRYSTAL BALL' is about a balance of not showing too much love but loving enough," Stevedreez explained to The FADER. "Lately, I’ve been reflecting back on the different types of relationships that I’ve been through and figuring out what I could have done better during those times. It’s kind of tough for me to show love but whenever I do things tend to carelessly break away."
Featuring twinkling streetlights and vintage-feeling clips of Stevedreez driving around in the car, a music video is out today alongside the single. Watch it below.
