The Kirti Pandey-produced single features the beatmaker’s distinguishing blend of jazzy keys and space-age synths that create a stellar backdrop for Wakai’s comforting streams of consciousness, as he raps about navigating life’s complexities. femdot. and Flozigg then join in with guidance and encouragement, particularly that which they receive from prayer.

“To heal it must come from a spiritual place, and most times in my life I’ve felt this source to a higher power almost resembles a call,” Wakai explained to The FADER. “Like my uncle in prison, I find myself calling to that higher source frequently, sometimes a response comes, and sometimes it doesn’t. But the strength comes from having the courage to still keep calling.”
