Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten announces solo debut Chaos For The Fly
Listen to the new song “Fairlies” now.
Grian Chatten, the frontman of Irish band Fontaines D.C., has announced details of a solo album to be released this summer. Chaos For The Fly is out on June 30 via Partisan Records and is described by Chatten as a chance to express "a couple of exaggerated aspects of my soul" in a statement shared with press.
Chatten shared album opener "The Score" last month and today's announcement comes with another song, "Fairlies" arrives alongside a video animated by Callum Scott-Dyson. Find that below.
"I wrote 'Fairlies' in intense heat, Chatten says. "Partly in Jerez, Spain, partly in LA a couple of days before a Fontaines D.C. tour kicked off. It was a quick write, and I believe I celebrated each line with a beer."
Fontaines D.C.'s latest album, Skinty Fia, was released in 2022.
