Kid Cudi gives a father-son pep talk in new trailer for Crater
With his role in the forthcoming Disney+ film, he’ll finally fulfill his long-held lunar aspirations.
13-and-a-half years ago, Kid Cudi announced himself to the world as “that man on the moon.” Today (April 13, 2023 A.D.), he’s finally lived up to that bold proclamation, appearing as the father of protagonist Caleb O’Conell (Isaiah Russell-Bailey) in the trailer to the forthcoming, extremely lunar Disney+ feature Crater. In the clip, Cudi gives his movie son a pep talk before he ventures out on his own (with a group of other children) toward what seems to be the film’s titular crevasse.
In Cudi’s own words, “Maybe if I was a jerk to girls / Instead of being nice and speaking kind words / Then maybe it would be okay to say then / I wasn’t a good guy to begin with.” Watch Crater’s official trailer, featuring the MOTM© himself, above. The film is scheduled to arrive on May 12, when the moon is scheduled to be in its last quarter, and in the house of Aquarius.
