Flo Milli drops new song “Nasty Dancer”
The OG Parker-produced track comes with a 35-second, Braxton Family Values-spoofing video skit.
Flo Milli returned triumphantly in 2022 with her sophomore album, You Still Here, Ho? (the follow-up to her 2020 debut, Ho, why is you here?). “Conceited,” a standout from the record, ranked 86th on our 100 best songs of 2022 list and was reworked with guest verses from Lola Brooke and Maiya The Don in January.
Now, the Mobile, Alabama emcee has shared her first brand new music of 2023 in the form of a tight, two-minute track titled “Nasty Dancer.” On its hook, she’s as confident as ever, proclaiming, “My shit just like cocoa / Make all the n***as go loco,” over minimal yet wildly catchy old-school production from OG Parker that could stand on its own on ladies’ night at the roller rink.
“Nasty Dancer” comes with a short skit in which Flo and three friends reenact a scene from Braxton Family Values, following in the footsteps of the sendups of America’s Next Top Model, Flavor of Love, Love and Hip-Hop, Bad Girls Club, The Simple Life, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and more that colored You Still Here, Ho?’s rollout.
