The Postal Service and Death Cab For Cutie announce joint tour
Next fall, the Ben Gibbard-fronted bands will perform Give Up and Transatlanticism in full.
The Postal Service‘s Give Up and Death Cab For Cutie‘s Transatlanticism were two of indie music’s biggest albums of 2003, and next year the bands will celebrate their 20th anniversaries with a joint tour of the United States performing both of the albums in full. Ben Gibbard, frontman for both The Postal Service and Death Cab, will perform in both sets at each concert.
Ticket presales begin Wednesday, December 14 at 10 a.m local time until Thursday, December 15 at 10 p.m. Sign up for ticket access here. General sale starts at Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

The concerts will mark the first Postal Service shows since their farewell tour in 2013. The duo reunited in 2020 for “The Postal Service Zoom Auditions,” a campaign to promote voting in the 2020 election. Death Cab For Cutie released their 10th studio album, Asphalt Meadows, in 2022.
