Ghanian artist Black Sherif has shared his debut album. The Villain I Never Was features recent single "Kwaku The Traveller" plus the Burna Boy remix of his breakout hit "Second Sermon." Mixing afrobeats with asakaa (Ghanian drill) "Second Sermon" was No. 16 on The Fader's 100 best songs of 2021. Stream the whole album below.
“It took me everything to give life to this body,” the 20-year-old artist says in a statement. “The one thing in my life that I gave everything up for. There is life in this body, I hope it treats you good and speaks to you like I want it to."
