The 17th annual BET Hip Hop Awards are here. This year’s ceremony celebrating excellence in rap were filmed Friday night (September 30) at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, and we’ve got all the info on how to watch its first national airing tonight, who’s hosting, and who’s nominated.
How do I watch the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards?
The BET Hip Hop Awards will be available to stream at 9 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time tonight (October 4). If you have cable, you can watch the ceremony on the BET Channel. You can also watch on Logo, MTV, MTV2, TV Land and VH1, all of which will be simulcasting the awards. If you don’t have cable, the ceremony will also be available to stream on Sling TV and fuboTV, as well as DIRECTV’s new streaming service, DIRECTV Stream.
Who is hosting the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards?
Famed New York rapper and businessman Fat Joe is hosting the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards. As an emcee, he’s behind classics like “Lean Back,” “What’s Luv?,” and “Make It Rain.” As a label exec, he founded Terror Squad Records in 1997, signing iconic acts such as Big Pun and Remy Ma. He’s been nominated for two BET Hip Hop Awards in the past.
Who is nominated at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards?
Drake leads the nominations at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards with 14. Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar trail close behind with 10 and nine nominations, respectively. Other artists nominated for multiple awards include Young Thug, Doja Cat, Latto, Lil Durk, and Tems, with three taps each.
