Released in May, Bad Bunny's album Un Verano Sin Ti is the biggest release of 2022, beating out every other full-length that dropped this year in total sales. You've probably heard songs from the album nonstop at parties, clubs, and cookouts, but its strength as a project is still going strong. This week, Un Verano Sin Ti will spend its eighth non-consecutive week at No. 1 with 108,800 equivalent album units, edging out YoungBoy Never Broke Again's new album The Last Slimeto by just 400 albums.
It's no small feat considering how long ago Bad Bunny's album dropped and the massive following YoungBoy commands. Most of YoungBoy's full-length albums since 2019 have debuted at No. 1 (with the exception of this year's Colors) and he boasts over 100 RIAA certifications over the course of his career. Bad Bunny's Un Verano Sin Ti also debuted at No. 1 and has stayed in the top two of the Billboard 200 since its release; that 15-week streak is the longest for an album since Drake's 2016 project Views.
