Charli XCX drops new song “Hot Girl”
The pop star’s latest bop will feature on the soundtrack to upcoming movie Bodies Bodies Bodies.
Charli XCX has shared new song "Hot Girl," which will feature on the soundtrack to upcoming A24 horror-comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies. Scroll down to hear the song, co-produced by George Daniel of The 1975, now.
Bodies Bodies Bodies is out on August 12. The movie features Amandla Stenberg's as Sophie who, fresh out of rehab, throws a party with the intention of introducing new girlfriend Bee to their group of friends. An ill-advised party game of a murder-in-the-dark, however, ends with a real-life murder and a whodunnit situation arises. Pete Davidson, Maria Bakalova, Chase Sui Wonders, Rachel Sennott, and Myha’la Herrold are among the chast. Check out a trailer here.
"Hot Girl" follows the release of Charli's latest album Crash, which was released in March. The album, her final release on major label Atlantic, featured the collaborations with both Rina Sawayama (“Beg for You”), plus Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens (“New Shapes”). More recently Chari teamed up with Tiësto for the single “Hot in It.”
