Panda Bear & Sonic Boom announce collaborative album, share “Go On”
Reset is due in August.
Panda Bear of Animal Collective and former Spaceman 3 member Sonic Boom will release joint album Reset next month. The album, due August 12 via Domino, is preceded by new song "Go On," a video for which can be seen below.
Though Reset is the first album from the duo, they have worked together in the past with Sonic Boom mixing and co-producing Panda Bear solo albums Tomboy (2011) and 2015's Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper.
A physical release of Reset is due on November 18. A $1 contribution from each CD & LP sold will be donated to Earth Island Institute, a non-profit aiming to conserve, preserve, and restore the environment. A limited edition of 500 translucent pink LP will be exclusively available on Bandcamp with a $10 contribution from each copy sold going to support MAPS, a non-profit research organization with the mission of developing psychedelic therapies into medical treatments to achieve mass mental health.
