Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Olivia Rodrigo, and Halsey are among 160 names backing Planned Parenthood’s #BansOffOurBodies campaign. Organizers took out a full-page advert in today’s New York Times outlining their condemnation of the Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion that threatens to overturn the protection of abortion rights in the U.S.
“The Supreme Court is planning to overturn Roe v. Wade, taking away the constitutional right to abortion,” the advert notes. “Our power to plan our own futures and control our own bodies depends on our ability to access sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion.”
Other signees include Clairo, Phoebe Bridgers, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Hailey Bieber, Camila Mendes, Ariana DeBose, King Princess, and Angel Olsen. The Bans Off Our Bodies Day of Action is scheduled to take place on Saturday, on May 14 with a series of rallies, marches, and events due to take place across the country in support of abortion rights.
