keiyaA has shared a new song as part of an upcoming compilation from Touching Bass, a London-based label and live promotor. "Camille's Daughter" will feature on Soon Come, due July 1, and is the first new material from the NYC vocalist since her 2020 album Forever Ya Girl. Check it out below.
Touching Bass is led by Errol and Alex Rita with Soon Come split in two halves: one representing daytime and the other night. "Camille's Daughter" is pulled from the Day half of the album with Ben Hauke's more club-orientated "Turn It On" also available today.
Other artists contributing material to the compilation include Wu-Lu, Nala Sinephro, Stones Throw’s DJ Harrison, Ego Ella May, and Hiatus Kaiyote’s Clever Austin.
Since releasing Forever Ya Girl two years ago, keiyaA has recorded her own NPR Tiny Desk Concert as well as contributing vocals to tracks by Nubya Garcia and Medhane.
