Nas took the stage at the 2022 Grammys to perform a number of his hit songs. He began with a clip from "I Can" before launching into God's Son's "Made You Look" followed by "One Mic" from Stillmatic before closing on "Rare" from King's Disease II, his 2021 album nominated for Best Rap Album (it lost earlier this evening to Tyler, The Creator). For his full performance, streaming below, Nas was backed by a full band.
Nas was also up for Best Rap Song because of his feature on DMX's posthumously released "Bath Salts" alongside JAY-Z, losing to Kanye West and JAY-Z for "Jail." At the 2021 Grammys, Nas won his first ever Grammy Award for King's Disease. He was first nominated in 1996 when It Was Written single "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)" lost in the Best Rap Solo Performance category.
