The first raft of performers for this year's Grammys have been announced. Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, who are among the most nominated artists with 8 nods each, will both perform live at the 2022 ceremony. Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow have also been added to the line-up alongside BTS and Brandi Carlile. More performers will be announced ahead of the awards bash, which takes place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on April 3.
In January it was announced that the Grammys would be postponed from February until April due to rising COVID rates. The ceremont was also moved from Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena (fka The Staples Center) to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It's the first time the Grammys haven't taken place in the Los Angeles venue since 1999.
The Recording Academy announced the 2022 Grammy nominations in November. Jon Batiste, in the mix for 11 awards, is the most nominated artist, followed by Rodrigo, Eilish, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, and H.E.R. Read the full list of nominees here.
